"Oh The Places She Will Go"

Disclaimer:  This blog was written on March 3rd, 2012....but for some reason (probably known as Maggie Kate) I never published it. Reading through it now, it made me laugh, so I've decided to put it out there!

Oh The Places "She" Will Go!

Maggie Kate, or as I have been referring to her as of late, Margaret, has a new ride! She has never loved riding in her car seat. In fact, I think the only peaceful ride her father and I have had since she was born, was the ride home from the hospital!! And as a result, she never really has liked riding in a stroller either! However, she does love riding "freely" in buggies! So after contemplating stealing a buggy from the local Publix, and then realizing the ugly stares I would get whilst wheeling my child around the neighborhood and Tony's Fabric Store in our stolen buggy! Gasp! Hey I'm a desperate momma! But lucky for me and Publix, I found this!

It is fantastic! Margaret thinks she is "riding" / "driving" her own bike, and it allows her to be a little more "free"! We are finding she is becoming more and more independent! The link below the picture is to

Toys "R" Us's website, and they have several options for boys and girls! As she grows this Trike converts 2 more times to grow with her, eventually turning into a tricycle! It has a toy cell phone and holder, and a cup holder! We were stopped several times on our stroll today to have sweet little old ladies admire our ride, and of course, attempt to pinch Margaret's sweet cheeks! So I would say, it went over much better than my stolen Publix buggy idea! :-)

Your Friendly Margaret Update!

At her 9 month well check she.....

.....Weighed 26.5 lbs

.....Was almost 32 inches long

.....And her Melon was 46 cm

 So once again we were in the 99% in all categories! :-)

So far Margaret....

.....has 4 teeth on top (as of today) and 3 on bottom, for a grand total of 7 teeth!

.....crawls everywhere!

.....pulls up and walks slowly along with the couch or tables! Yikes!

.....wears 18/24 month clothing

.....wears size 5 Pampers

.....says Da Da Da Da (daddy), Ba Ba Ba Ba (for her bottle), Dat (that), Top Dat  or sometimes just Top(stop that / stop....wonder where she got that one from?!), Ma Ma Ma Ma (Momma, the most recent, I was so excited), Ay Der (Hey There!), and shakes her head NO profusely!

.....uses her pointer finger all the time now, to point out various things, but mostly Da Da and other babies

.....eats only 3, 8 oz. bottles a day :-(

.....loves eating Puffs, Cheese Doodles, Grilled Cheeses, Momma's Baked Potato, and Pickles!

.....and finally she LOVES a bath
